Health and Safety Policy Statement

Ensuring the Health, Safety and Welfare of all those affected by our activities is paramount. The Company Directors are committed to managing, monitoring, and improving our Company systems to ensure this in accordance with ISO 45001:2018

In order to achieve this commitment, we will:

  • Eliminate hazards and reduce risks as low as reasonably practicable.
  • Provide adequate resources to undertake our activities.
  • Comply with relevant health and safety legislation and adopt best practice.
  • Consult & engage staff and others to promote & maintain safe & healthy conditions.
  • Invite staff to appoint a representative to participate in management reviews.
  • Provide safe and healthy working conditions.
  • Provide adequate information, instruction, training and supervision.
  • Develop and continually improve our Health and Safety management system.
  • Provide adequate first aid and emergency procedures.
  • Investigate and correct all reported hazards, incidents or near misses.
  • Monitor and measure relevant compliance and performance parameters.
  • Identify and assign job specific responsibilities and obligations for all staff.
  • Ensure this policy is communicated to interested parties.
  • Ensure all staff, sub-contractors and sub-consultants comply with this policy.

Objectives

  • Ensure that staff consistently receive industry-specific health and safety training.
  • Improve confined space management: Utilising automated and cloud-based procedures and adopting innovative technologies.
  • Commit to enhanced dust control measures: to further diminish the potential risks of concrete silica dust exposure during our operations.
  • Plan for Emergency Response Drills: Establish a routine for custom emergency response drills and practices to enhance the team’s knowledge and skills.
  • Promote behaviour-based safety: Develop a program that encourages workforce engagement, empowers the workforce, and rewards them for good practices

The Directors have ultimate responsibility for formulating and implementing this Safety policy.
